Halloween is a day of mild scares, dress-up, and overall friendly fun! With the honorary holiday pulling up within a mere couple of days, students have already taken the time to think out what they will be wearing to school and trick-or-treating on the well-known date of October 31st.
The costumes that people will be wearing to school will come in mixed themes, styles, and complexity. While some costumes may be a simple mask, other students might instead end up pulling all of the strings and come to school wearing a rather complex costume. Meanwhile, there may also be some students who don’t have a costume to wear, or rather not wear one to campus. Regardless of what the student wears or doesn’t wear, Kaiser has something for everyone!
On October 31st, the Halloween Costume Contest will be taking place behind the library at Lunch! The Costume Contest covers 5 different topics: Scariest, Most Creative, Strangest, Most Grotesque, & Best Group.
The Scariest Costume topic already explains itself; the costume needs to give off a good scare. After all, Halloween is about being lightly scary, right? The Most Creative Contest topic is also rather self-explanatory, where the showcased costume should take a very creative idea and put it into action. The Strangest Costume topic needs to showcase something rather unusual or have it deviate from the standard costume formula. Something that seems odd would help you get one step closer to said title. Grotesque builds off of the Strangest Costume topic, as the winning title goes to the costume that looks the grossest or ugliest. Finally, the Best Group Category covers the Best pair of students.
October 31st is less than 24 hours away! In the meantime, get your best costumes ready!
