At this point, students have probably found their way into the pattern of swapping between A Days and B Days rather smoothly. However, with the remainder of the quarter featuring more days off and assemblies, the schedule will wind up a bit messier than usual in the coming weeks.
November 5th, 2024, is Election Day. Because of the day being a holiday, the campus will likely be empty, so don’t expect very many people to visit the campus on this day, you’ll probably be disappointed. Following that on November 11th, 2024, Veteran’s Day takes place. Again, this is a holiday, so students and teachers alike will get the day off. On the same week of Veteran’s Day, there will be an extended KAP Class on November 13th, 2024.
Thankfully, the next week is unaffected, but this won’t last for long.
The week coming right after will be the shortest school week of the quarter, or even the year if you’re not counting the first week of Quarter 1 and 3. This is because of Thanksgiving & Black Friday. These two holidays are concurrent to one another, so students will have two days off in a row. This is also on a Thursday & Friday, so Wednesday will be the final day of said week. From there, students will have 2 unaffected weeks, before reaching the Semester Finals week.
December 16th, 17th, 18th, and 19th are Semester Finals. On these days, students will only have two periods per day, with a study hall session at the end. Finally, the quarter will end off with a random A Day.
Don’t worry, though! Once the quarter is over, we can get back into our standard pattern of swapping classes, no confusing modifications required! Hang on tight, and we’ll eventually return to your regularly-scheduled regular schedule.
